J2EE.3.7.1 Interoperability
Secure interoperability for enterprise beans will be an important goal of the next version of the J2EE specification. We expect a future version of this specification to require support for an industry standard interoperability protocol for enterprise beans. We expect this protocol to be based on the CORBA IIOP protocol.
J2EE.3.7.2 Auditing
This specification does not specify requirements for the auditing of security relevant events, nor APIs for application components to generate audit records. A future version of this specification may include such a specification for products that choose to provide auditing.
