Chapter J2EE.10. Service Provider Interface
This version of Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) does not define the J2EE service provider interface.
Several APIs required in the current version of this specification have service provider interfaces. These are, of course, required to be present in the current version of the J2EE platform. Future versions of this specification will fully describe the execution environment available to such service providers, including which APIs are available to them, the security permissions they are likely to have, etc. In addition, future versions of this specification will define how to package and deploy a service provider.
