Chapter 5. The User Interface
The user interface is a part of any application that is well worth spending a lot of time on, as it is the only part of the application that the user sees. A user tends to (quite rightly) judge the quality of an application on the basis of the elegance and aesthetics of its user interface. In this chapter, we will look at how best to use the user interface classes available in the MID profile and PersonalJava to develop a user interface on a PDA.
